The word induce is a very important word related to the ideas of Napoleon Hill as he states that great success can only be achieved with a group, in a group. And people need to be induced to cooperate.

Still a bit tricky to me, Guus, as it ‘inducing people’ has some kind of negative tone to it. But I guess that’s my perception, as I know that what Napoleon Hill means is certainly positive for all people involved.

So maybe a good definition of induce would be something like “convincing people to cooperate for some positive goal or outcome for everybody”.
