Emotions

Attitude, emotions and feelings

One of the main categories of Inspiration for Success is attitude, emotions and feelings, so we have an entry page for that. But each of the words attitude, emotions and feelings are a category in themselves, so of course we would need entry pages for them individually also. So this is the starting page for our (sub) category emotions.

And related to emotions I want to point to a site I found that is very relevant to the subject and the related document.

Think and Grow Rich

As emotions are a very important subject in the book Think and Grow Rich, one of the corner stones of Inspiration for Success, we want to mention the main emotions mentioned in that book. The major positive emotions according Think and Grow Rich are:

The major negative emotions (to be avoided) are:

  • Fear
  • Jealousy
  • Hatred
  • Revenge
  • Greed
  • Superstition
  • Anger

According Napoleon Hill positive emotions and negative emotions cannot occupy the mind at the same time. One or the other dominates. And looking for success, it is your responsibility to make sure that the positive emotions are the dominating influence of your mind. Also according to Napoleon Hill it is important to create habits around creating the positive emotions in the mind. This will, in the end, make sure negative emotions cannot enter the mind anymore.
