Elephant Journal is dedicated to the ‘mindful life’. And ‘mindful life’ is about “yoga, organics, sustainability, conscious consumerism, enlightened education, the contemplative arts, adventure, bicycling, family… everything. But mostly it’s about this present moment, right here, right now, and how we can best be of benefit, and have a good time doing so” according to the site. And my first impression of the site that it’s a bit chaotic, it is not really clear straight away what the site is about. But normally I guess you would end up in some page through Google and then browse further if you like what you found, so let’s not make any judgement straight away. I’ll just check if I can sign up and go from there and write more here later. And trying to do so I found ‘subscription’ is paid, which of course is a very good thing, but as I am not earning anything with this site I think I’ll skip that for now. Let’s just ask them if they can give me a free membership for evaluation.
And yes, there is also a free subscription I found out later, but still, basic idea of the site is ‘paid’ and ‘advertising’. And people knowing me would know I very much appreciate the ‘paid’, so very good with that. Less the advertising though.
